Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center (LSNC) wants to improve its after-school, summer, and teen programs, which provide low-income residents of the area with a safe space, as well as tutoring, arts, and sports activities. Funding and staffing disruptions have contributed to a lack of formal structures in LSNC’s programming, such as defined curricula and structured staff development and training. Lincoln Square proposes to hire a consultant to develop a theory of change to guide youth programming, create new curricula for its youth service programs, and establish professional development training for staff.
This grant will allow Lincoln Square Neighborhood Center to improve its programming by formalizing staff training and creating curricula that are focused on best practices.
