Service Learning to Pro: Building BCCP Step by Step

The Brooklyn College Community Partnership (BCCP), which provides school-day and after-school programs to approximately 1,500 middle and high school students in central Brooklyn, plans to develop and implement a comprehensive professional development program for staff who are transitioning from service-learning students at Brooklyn College to BCCP employees.

The Brooklyn College Community Partnership (BCCP), which provides school-day and after-school programs to approximately 1,500 middle and high school students in central Brooklyn, plans to develop and implement a comprehensive professional development program for staff who are transitioning from service-learning students at Brooklyn College to BCCP employees. The goal is to provide staff with the necessary work habits, professional skills, and instructional expertise necessary to become exceptional youth workers and positive adult role models.
