Brooklyn Botanic Garden (BBG) wants to improve its Garden Apprentice Program, a year-round internship offered to 60 middle and high school students.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden (BBG) will partner with a social service agency to provide its staff with training and professional services to help student interns (grades 9–12) in the Garden Apprentice Program (GAP) manage difficult life choices.

To support a program that offers middle and high school students valuable job skill training and academic enrichment using hands-on learning and adult mentoring.

The High School Internship Program provides 60 high school students with an educational experience grounded in rigorous scientific and horticultural techniques.
