Safe Horizon’s Streetwork Program was established in 1984 with a mission to offer homeless, runaway and street-involved youth respite from hunger, cold, loneliness, and fear and the opportunity to reclaim a sense of dignity and self-worth. With the Foundation’s support, Streetwork will provide staff and peer-delivered services to 1,700 unduplicated in-house clients and conduct more than 12,000 outreach contacts in the coming year.
