THE POINT Community Development Corporation

The Point Community Development Corporation wants to improve its after-school and weekend programming, which serve 500 kids from the Hunts Point section of the Bronx and emphasize academic support and justice-based arts and service learning activities.

Among THE POINT’s after-school offerings is the Middle Grades Program, which currently consists of the ICP at the POINT (a photography program) and a more comprehensive program that provides homework help and arts and recreation.

To support the enhancement and expansion of a youth development program in the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx.

The Youth Development Program is an after-school initiative that combines academic activities with a comprehensive arts education curriculum.
