Attributes of Good Learning Experiences for Youth

Funds were provided for a paper on the attributes of good learning experiences for young people, ages 13 to 18.

Funds were given for Robert Halpern, Paul Heckman, and Reed Larson to write a paper that articulates the attributes of good learning experiences for young people between the ages of 13 and 18. The paper will be accompanied by discussions relating the attributes to the contemporary contexts of young people’s lives and adult society. The paper will be disseminated with the goal of influencing the ongoing debate about in-school and out-of-school time learning arrangements for young people.
