Dancewave, Inc., with help from a consultant, will create an improved curriculum, develop a school handbook, and institute a faculty training program for Dancewave AfterSchool, which offers kids and teens (ages 8 to 18) the opportunity to study a wide spectrum of dance after school. The new curriculum will focus on progressive courses that reflect student age, ability, and interests. The handbook will define school procedures and policies, allowing Dancewave faculty and school staff to be consistent with issues such as attendance, behavior, and discipline. The faculty training will give instructors tools to support classroom diversity and student self-esteem and socialization.
