These two activities strengthen the capacity of the Foundation’s William T. Grant Scholars, select grantees, and referred applicants to integrate rigorous qualitative and quantitative methods into their research. They typically address issues related to data collection, coding, analysis, interpretation, and publishing. Lieber’s team will also plan and organize a mixed-methods meeting in spring 2014. The meeting provides grantees with rich exchanges with other grantees and advice from invited consultants during interactive workshops, presentations, and individual consultation sessions.
Lieber will provide consultation services to build grantee capacity in conducting mixed-methods research. Lieber and his team will also organize the Foundation’s mixed-methods workshop.
