Teaching Digital Reporting Skills on New York City Public High School Students

Youth Communication New York will use this award to improve the writing and journalism training they provide to New York City high school students.

Staff will update training to include current digital media platforms and hire a consultant to develop a curriculum for basic digital reporting skills. In addition, Youth Communication editors will receive digital media training.
