The Evaluation Exchange, Harvard Family Research Project’s evaluation periodical that addresses current issues facing program evaluators. The issue will focus on the evaluation of professional development across human service sectors, including after-school and youth development programs, to build their capacity to develop, evaluate, and improve professional development efforts. The issue will offer conceptual frameworks, promising examples, and practical tools for evaluating professional development; explore links between professional development, program quality, and supportive organizational contexts; and discuss methods for evaluating emerging forms of professional development.
