Indicators of Social Context and the Child Trends DataBank: A Midcourse Review

The Child Trends DataBank is a national resource for data and research on more than a hundred indicators of child and youth wellbeing.

Child Trends plans to perform a midcourse review of the DataBank, including content, design, marketing, management, and long-term sustainability strategies. Support from the Foundation will primarily fund a technical and practical assessment for expansion of the DataBank to include key indicators of social context affecting youth development. Particular attention will be paid to the identification of objective indicators of context for which there are existing national data sources.
