San Francisco Beacon Initiative’s Beacon Workforce Study

How can workforce development best support quality in programs for youth?

This study will examine qualitative data gathered through a focus group of 10-15 staff and quantitative data through questionnaires and staff surveys. This study will contribute to a greater understanding of what is involved in strengthening the youth-serving workforce. Additionally, the investigators will share their research instruments and findings with others in the youth development field who may be interested in conducting similar research.
