Using Evidence for a Change

Funds were given for two policy meetings focusing on the use of evidence and research-based knowledge in shaping policy and practice in education.

The first meeting will be a public policy forum in Washington, D.C., titled “Using Evidence for a Change,” and will have an audience of representatives from education policy and the advocacy community. The second meeting will include education research and development (R&D) organizations and other policy leaders and will focus on current and future trends in education policy and the role of R&D in the national education environment.
