The group will formulate a research agenda that can be used by the Foundation and other funders to set priorities for neighborhood effects research. It also will identify existing data that can be used to address the questions posed, with particular attention to replication analyses across samples.
A group of neighborhood researchers will meet to examine the state of knowledge on the effects of neighborhoods on individual and family functioning and the methodological and measurement challenges in studying neighborhood effects.
