Results for America hosted a public event on March 30, 2016 on Capitol Hill to discuss the importance of evidence-based policymaking at the state, local, and federal levels; current state and local capacity to implement evidence-based policies; and the role the federal government can and should play to help enhance state and local capacity. This event brought together 50–75 individuals representing state and local governments, social sector nonprofits, policy advocates, and Congressional staff.
This grant supported a series of activities designed to initiate public dialogue on what needs to happen in the next five years for evidence-based policymaking to succeed at the state and local levels
