Youth Service Improvement Grants: An Overview of the Program and How to Apply (February 2025)

The Youth Service Improvement Grants program supports activities to improve the quality of direct services for young people ages 5 to 25 in the five boroughs of New York City. The goal of the program is to strengthen existing services by helping youth-serving nonprofit organizations address challenges or remedy problems at the point of service, where staff and youth interact.

In this webinar, held on February 26, 2025, Program Administrative Assistant Maya Simeon and Senior Vice President Kim DuMont discuss the background and goals of the program, as well as provide an overview of eligibility details, required materials, and review criteria. Maya and Kim also go through a sample proposal piece by piece to illustrate what goes into a competitive application.
