Newcomer Children in America

A study aimed at capturing the demographic, educational, economic, housing, and neighborhood situations of children in immigrant families compared to children in native-born families.

This study will focus on 80 neighborhoods in New York City, and will generate data for children in immigrant families from the Dominican Republic, China, and Mexico, for white and black children in native-born families, and for Puerto Rican children in island-origin and mainland-origin families.
