Public Attitudes Toward Low-Income Families and Children

How do the contexts in which low-income children and youth reside affect the attitudes of American adults?

Researchers will examine how factors such as the type of neighborhood families in need live in, their labor market status, and their marital status may influence the public’s preferences regarding low-income families and the policies designed to help them.
