What processes that take place within Dialogues account for demonstrated effects? Intergroup Dialogues bring students from two or more social identity groups together into a small group, co-learning environment through which students learn to recognize both intergroup differences and commonalities, and to negotiate intergroup conflicts. This project is a randomized, experimental study in ten different universities. The investigators will randomly assign college students to either Dialogues or wait-list control groups. Qualitative and quantitative methods of measurement and observation will be used pre- and post-intervention and one year after the post-assessment.
