Mr. Geen, Director of Child Welfare Research at the Urban Institute will work with the Democratic staff within the Human Resources Subcommittee of the House Committee on Ways and Means.

Dr. Smith will work within the Office of the Speaker in the Massachusetts State Legislature on issues of child health and well-being.

Dr. Rhodes will spend a half year at Big Sister of Greater Boston and another half year at Big Brother of Massachusetts Bay.

Dr. Gorman-Smith will work with the Coalition for Evidence-Based Policy in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Nicholson will work within the Massachusetts Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Judge David L. Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law. Her focus will be on mental health and child welfare.
