This study combines qualitative and quantitative analysis to understand the role of marriage and fertility in the lives of young adults. Specifically, the study investigates the temporal and theoretical disconnect that has emerged between marriage and fertility among low-income individuals.

How do young men and women from the inner-city accomplish successful transitions from incarceration to life back in society? As many as one-third of formerly incarcerated young adults will return to jail or prison within several years of their release.

What are the formal and informal resources and supports that help youth with disabilities transition to adulthood?

This project explores relationships between religion and self-image, educational/career aspirations, and educational achievement in youth.
