Transition to Parenting and Serious Romantic Partnerships Among Urban Youth: A 50-Month Follow-Up

A study that compares young couples who will have broken up 50 months after the birth of their child to those who stay together.

The goal is to understand which young fathers remain involved as parents even after breakups and why. This study uses a longitudinal sub-sample of 75 families in several U.S. cities from the Fragile Families Project.
