CollegeBound Initiative (CBI) is a school-based, college access program of YWLN that serves disadvantaged boys and girls in underserved, inner-city public schools.
READ trains middle and high school students to teach reading skills to elementary school students after school and during the summer. Due to competing financial and scheduling constraints, many teen tutors are unable to complete the tutoring cycle.
To support the community service opportunities and paid summer jobs the Reading Excellence and Discovery Foundation, or READ, provides to disadvantaged teens through its programming.
The William T. Grant Foundation invests in high-quality research focused on reducing inequality in youth outcomes and improving the use of research evidence in decisions that affect young people in the United States.
