Intervention RFP: Phase One Project Examining Setting-Level Capacity Building on After-School Programs

Can capacity-building support for after-school programs improve organizational structure and processes?

This feasibility study examines the appropriateness of doing a full-scale experimental evaluation of an intervention conducted in after-school settings by the Kansas After-School Leadership Development Initiative (KALDI). The team is studying the fidelity of implementation of KALDI in after-school sites to learn how different it is from the training such programs normally receive. The goals are to develop the intervention, establish observation and data collection strategies, and perform preliminary data analyses for the larger study of 70 after-school programs.
