Prison Moratorium Project’s PMP Youth Academy
Project Description PMP (People Moving Power) Academy

Support for a 12 week long youth leadership training program designed for high school aged youth who are at risk of becoming involved in the criminal justice system of have already been incarcerated or are court-involved. Each PMP Academy class will graduate 15 high school aged youth who will serve as successful peer and community educators and juvenile justice experts in their neighborhood and community. Upon graduation, they will outreach to various schools, community organizations and youth serving agencies to conduct PMP’s Jeopardy Juvenile Justice 101 workshops.
