A Proposal to Archive the Beginning School Study Qualitative Data

Dr. Alexander has reached an agreement with Harvard’s Murray Research Center to store all Beginning School Study (BSS) survey and school record data for future dissemination to the research community.

This grant funds the preparation of qualitative interview data (tape recorded and transcribed conversations) to add to the data that has already been collected and stored. This data was procured in two phases in the years following the participants’ high school careers and includes a wide range of students.
