Reading, Writing, Respect, and Resolution: The Causal Effects of a School-Wide Social-Emotional Learning and Literacy Intervention on Teachers and Children

Can the school-wide implementation of the 4Rs curriculum intervention–focusing on reading, writing, respect, and resolution–improve student outcomes?

Investigators will randomly assign 18 schools to a 4Rs intervention or control condition. As many as 1,800 students in 72 3rd grade classrooms will be followed and assessed on their progress in social-emotional skill and academic development as they move from 3rd-5th grade.
