Institutional Challenge Grant Convening 2024 and Reducing Inequality Convening 2025 – Grantee Meeting and Support

This grant will enable The Learning Agenda to lead planning and meeting facilitation of the Foundation’s Institutional Challenge Grant Convening and the Reducing Inequality Grantee Convening.

This grant will support the eighth convening of grantees in the Foundation’s reducing inequality focus area and the fourth annual convening of Institutional Challenge Grantees and engage The Learning Agenda (TLA) to support the Foundation in agenda and content development as well as event planning and execution. Oravec and her team will draw upon their experience in creating professional learning communities, planning events, and implementing related activities, as well as their expertise in building the capacity of youth-serving organizations and youth-invested philanthropies. For the Reducing Inequality convening, goals include: 1) fostering a supportive learning community of grantees; 2) strengthening grantee capacity to conduct research on reducing inequality; and 3) engaging in rich discussions about shared challenges. The Institutional Challenge Grant convening will bring grantees together to identify, share, and discuss strategies for: 1) managing institutional change; 2) sustaining the partnership during and following the grant; 3) building the capacity of community partners to use research evidence; and 4) engaging in relationship and trust-building for equitable partnerships. The National Summer Learning Association serves as the fiscal sponsor for TLA.
