The National Network of Education Research–Practice Partnerships (NNERPP) is a formal network of existing and emerging research–practice partnerships (RPPs) in education whose mission is to develop, support, and connect education RPPs to improve connections between research, policy, and practice. Its four objectives are to develop and share best practices for partnerships, facilitate cross-partnership collaborations, synthesize RPP research findings and produce new knowledge, and advance policies and system reforms. Since its inception in 2016, NNERPP has hosted annual convenings and monthly webinars for its members and developed an extensive set of resources to advance these objectives. Over the next three years, NNERPP will expand the network’s activities and resources. They will create subnetwork learning communities to support collective problem-solving and research across partnerships working on the same issues across the country. Other projects will bolster resources for RPPs through the creation of a quarterly magazine and of a repository of partnership research. Additional activities will build the capacity of this burgeoning field by providing support to early-stage RPPs and individual professional development to improve partnership work. Lastly, NNERPP will develop, test, and support the use of measures of RPP effectiveness.
This award will continue the Foundation’s support for the National Network of Education Research-Practice Partnerships.
